About Us

We started BonkersaboutBabies as two new Mums. Our first babies were born in December 05 and January 06. Our children are the centre of our lives. Karen lives near Huntingdon and Cressida near Peterborough. We met through our antenatal classes and have been meeting up regularly ever since. During a conversation over lunch we both commented on how difficult and daunting it had been to find out about local activities and services for our babies and how useful it would have been to have had advance information about the local towns and their facilities as well. We quickly came to the conclusion that a local magazine containing this information could help new mums in those first few months to get out and about and really enjoy their babies. Using our recent experience, ideas flowed freely and we launched our first magazine in the Peterborough and Huntingdon area in September 2006. Since then things have gone from strength to strength and we have added to our team, had more babies ’ Cressida has since had another little girl in October 2007 and Karen is expecting twins in April 08! ’ and we are launching magazines in other regions. We also had our first baby show in 2007 which was a huge success. We are confident our magazines are of huge benefit to both their readers and advertisers alike!

It is our hope that BonkersaboutBabies will continue to develop and grow, helping and supporting Mums across the local community.
